Cookie Policy

No banner theatre. No hidden optional tracking.

Effective 17 July 2026 · Review when the site stack, business status, or law changes.
CURRENT STATUS

No optional first-party cookies in this build.

The site’s own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript do not currently set analytics, advertising, profiling, or preference cookies. Because no optional cookies are activated by the site, there is presently no decorative consent banner asking permission for technology that is not being used.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small value that a website or service can store in a browser. Similar technologies can use local storage, pixels, SDKs, identifiers, or embedded resources to remember information or observe activity.

Current first-party behaviour

The current site uses client-side JavaScript for navigation, catalogue search, filters, copying text, and preparing emails. That code does not set cookies or use browser local storage.

Hosting and external links

Internet infrastructure and third-party services may process technical request data independently. When a visitor follows a link to Amazon, Goodreads, GitHub, Instagram, or another platform, the destination may use its own cookies under its own policy.

Embedded content

The current build does not intentionally load marketing embeds, social-media widgets, or third-party video players on ordinary page load. If such content is added later, it must be assessed before publication and blocked behind consent where required.

Future changes

Analytics, newsletters, advertising, personalization, direct checkout, or embedded services must not be silently added. Before optional technologies are activated, this page and the privacy policy must be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism implemented where required.

Operational rule

No non-essential tracking before valid consent where consent is required. Rejecting must not be made harder than accepting.
